Valo Therapeutics is a clinical stage biotech developing novel immunotherapies for cancer that are projected to transform treatment and prevention for millions of patients. Its unique approach, based on the selective use of oncolytic and non-replicating vectors with disease-specific peptides, delivers a highly specific, immunogenic and rapidly adaptable platform for the treatment of cancer.
Indaco Venture Partners SGR co-led the €13M round with CDP Venture Capital SGR with the support of Fondazione Enea Tech e Biomedical to join the €6 Million investment round from Australian investors, led by Freeman Road. The round will enable Valo to expand and complete the Phase 1B clinical study of the company’s lead tumour antigen-coated oncolytic virus candidate, PeptiCRAd, an innovative cancer immunotherapy platform designed to enhance anti-tumour immune responses in patients with solid tumours. The clinical trials will be performed in three different countries, Italy, Australia and Germany.
Indaco Bio Fund invested into Valo Therapeutics Italy SRL and Valo Therapeutics Oy in January 2025.
